The best definition of success I have ever come across was by The late Earl Nightingale that goes like this;
“Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal”
Almost every successful person I know of today did not earn their success by luck or chance. Some may have gotten a lucky break on life, but for the most part everyone else had to take action and actually commit to achieving success.
The same goes to you. Your success may not be handed over to you, but it definitely is within your grasp if you are willing to reach for it. To do that, you have got to change some of the very common mindset traits that we all fall victim to.
IDK, I Think That’s Just The Way I am!
Whenever you find yourself feeling hungry for success, then that’s a sign that something has gotten to change. It may sound confusing at first, but if you truly believe in yourself then you are more than capable of changing for the better. Making the mental shift from believing nothing will change to believing that for things to change you have got to change, is the first step towards reaching your success.
Only If… Then….
It’s great to be forward thinking and looking ahead, but if you aren’t being grateful and seeing the good in your current situation, you may miss the opportunity that’s right in front of you. Having this kind of mindset could potentially leave you stagnant because it brings with it an ill vice of waiting for change rather than making the change happen.
“Opportunity often comes disguised in the form of misfortune, or temporary defeat.” – Napoleon Hill
What If I Don’t Make It To My Success?
Did you know that…
1.Things that never happen: 40 percent. That is, 40 percent of the things you worry about will never occur anyway.
2.Things over and past that can’t be changed by all the worry in the world: 30 percent.
3.Needless worries about our health: 12 percent.
4.Petty, miscellaneous worries: 10 percent.
5.Real, legitimate worries: 8 percent. Only 8 percent of your worries are worth concerning yourself about. Ninety-two percent are pure fog with no substance at all

With that snippet it is worth to remember that it’s very useless to worry. Worrying also comes from the the belief that whatever you can achieve depends on outside sources, in other words you believe that you are not responsible for your success. You can eliminate this worry habit by having confidence in yourself and in what you can do, and not bothering yourself with what you cannot control.
It Will Never Happen For Me, Then Why Waste My Time?
When opportunities present themselves before you, evaluate the ones that are best suited for where you would want to be eventually and take them. Most opportunities may not seem like the perfect ones, but that doesn’t mean you write them off immediately. Just seek for the ones that are best suited for what’s best for you and give it all the best effort you can. You will be surprised with the positive outcome.
I’m Comfortable With My Current Situation
If staying comfortable with your current situation is okay with you, then why have you read this far? It’s evident that you want thing to change, you want to be more successful than your current situation. You may need to ask the person you look at in the mirror everyday a few questions like: What needs to change to be successful? What is holding you back from tapping into your unlimited potential? How bad do you want it? If you truly want it as bad as you want to breathe, which is evident that you do, then it’s time to let go of the habits that are holding you back from moving forward in life.
Remember success is available to everyone that is willing to make a difference within themselves. Take control of your life and make the necessary changes if you have to because YES you do deserve Success!
